'victory is certain'. Aside from the fact that I'm not sure what exactly 'victory' is here, that statement sounds eerily too similar to calling an sports event a LOCK, which we all know is the kiss of death. I wish it were so, but nothing is certain and saying it over and over doesn't make it so.
